It's the spiritual home of MotoGP, easy to get there when you know how - jr to Utsunomiya and then take the special bus (not the jr one) to the ring and return for y1,000, it's allowed a back way out to get back to the station avoiding the traffic

I went when there was no special event but you can go down to the paddock and see bikes racing or testing. I more or less the stadium to myself. The park itself is catering for kids but he go-karts are fun. Entry to the park was 1200yen you buy additional tickets (unless you have park passport) for rides as i went on my own i didn't really stick around the park but headed for Honda Collection. I took #45 bus from bus stop #7 north exit from Mito Station. The bus left 835am and arrive 1005am at Motegi Twin Ring, I was the only person on bus most the way. Bus cost was 1510 yen pay on exit but remember to take ticket from machine when you get on. Bus leaves from drop off point at 1630pm and arrive back in Mito 6pm don't miss the bus as there is only one a day unless you take alternative route.

This is a must visit. They have some awesome go carts, a great bunch of kids attractions. The track itself is fun to watch the locals driving their cars around. The GT cafe is decent, though has no view of the track.

The stay was increadible! Bedwhere conftorabe, the museum was out standing and the food wads greatIt was a honour to see Ayrton Sennas 1988 champion wning car.

It is a really interesting place. There are a lot of different areas, like the racing area, an area for kids, an area where they sell food... And I'm not sure I saw the whole facility. To get down to the racing area, there was a long stairway, but coming back up, there is an escalator all the way. The bathrooms were really nice. The only thing I would warn of is that in order to save yourself a spot, you need to get there really early. The floors are not properly painted to separate for different athletic teams, and we ended up getting there a little late and had to beg for a little piece of the camp area, even though each person had paid ¥8000, and we had reserved the space.

Everything was great EXCEPT the 3 hours it took to get out of the parking lot. Motegi needs to correct this with some sort of traffic enforcement at the intersection. NOT GOOD.

World class circuit! The riding is amazing, and the paddock a comfortable and safe environment to spend the day. We've stayed at the hotel before our local races and the facilities are great.

Not a Honda fan? Go anyway! Totally worth it! Go on weekend to get the most out of it! (If no car => utsunomiya station bus leaves 8:59am and comes back 3:40pm

If you have a passion for cars, a must see - although it is quite far from anything else. Park had an entry fee but for cal overs money well spent. We saw many classic cars, race cars and motorbikes. Robot demo as well. There is also a huge kids amusement park attached - could easily do a half day at each for visitors bringing their kids.

Such an awesome place for people of any age! Watch races, eat food, play some games, pick up some souvenirs and even visit the Honda collection hall!

Great track, well organised, plenty to see, the Japanese people make it a pleasure.

Awesome spot to see some people taking laps and some older cars.

The race course is amazing on its own, it's quite an amazing feel to be there in person instead of in a video game. It's really a nice place to go, because the track's surroundings have been turned into a bit of a theme park (think less roller coaster more fun raving themed things to do). Also on the track's grounds is the Honda heritage museum, as Motegi is Honda's home track.

One of the most famous racetracks on the planet. Honda museum is here as well. Just awesome. Next time I'm going on an open track day and going out myself.

For the amusement part: Smart Entry Passes. Arrive 30 minutes after opening and you'll have to expect to wait until late afternoon to ride with whatever you planned on. Not fun at all if you want to take your kids spontaneously.

So far away from everything. And transportation and arrangement is not good enough. You should come to see Honda collection hall, lot of legendary automobil in there.

Visited for Motegi 5-Hour Endurance Race. Main grandstand is a bit far from the actual running tarmac, but I had a good view nonetheless. There are motorsport themed rides and other active attractions, so plenty to do even during non-race day. Since it is in the middle of the mountains, visiting via car is preferable (there are buses to and from nearby train stations, but it seems a very long trip).
